Ceramics are a beautiful material to rest your eyes on, which is why we like to see it used in various interior details. Our Minerio lamp is just such an example. Here, glazed white earthenware and hand-braided straws meet and become a bright spot in the room.

Minerio is a flirtation with the 60s and the interior design trend that prevailed then. It's no coincidence that we chose to match the lamp base with a lampshade in the natural material straw. During our many visits to Portugal, we have been inspired by the country's craftsmanship and tradition, not least in basket and straw weaving.

So, after working on the lamp base, we looked for someone who could make the lampshades we had in mind a reality. In a small village in the north of Portugal, we met a family business with a long tradition of weaving bags and baskets. They really know their craft and dye the natural material they weave with themselves. Based on our sketches, they created the lampshades we wanted.

The result is Minerio - a lamp that provides an atmospheric light. The lamp base comes in three different finishes. The glazes - Lava, Malachite and Sand. The lampshade is also available in three different designs.

Since both the work with the clay in the lamp base and the weaving of the lampshades are handmade, each lamp is also unique.

The development of Minerio has been an exciting journey that we now hope will be a bright companion that creates character in your home.
