Fado - barrels for the party
Fado is a special edition signed ceramic. Hand-turned large terracotta dishes that Helena and Susanna paint freely by hand and sometimes using stencils. No two plates are the same. It is a unique edition, made on site in the family-owned ceramic workshop in the village of Areias, Barcelos. This idyllic village with small cobbled streets is surrounded by stunningly beautiful nature. It is from this environment that Sthål draws inspiration for his work.
The series is dedicated to Portugal and Sthål's love for the country. It is named Fado after the Portuguese folk music style that is so characteristic.
The platters become the centerpiece of the table. They're great for salads, pasta, fruit or just as a beautiful dish to rest your eyes on. A perfect gift for someone who is celebrating a birthday or for yourself and all the celebrations that await in the future.
